Find your focus, be it the rusted rail or the lovely skyline, there is beauty in all #iphoneography #photography #NYC

While walking along the Hudson waterfront in Hoboken, I noticed this rusting rail. immediately I fished out my phone and started shooting, I wanted to capture the NYC skyline form the vantage of the rusting rail.

While reviewing the images I had a tough time picking what should be in focus, the NYC skyline or the rail. Both had their beauty … Heck I decided to post both of em… So be the judge.

Amazing piece of history, the Dakota, residence of John Lennon, place he was shot #iphoneography #photography #Beatles

The Dakota building overlooking Central Park on the west 72nd street is a land mark building for many reasons

It was the first high rise apartment building in upper west side built in 1880s

It was the home for the Beatles.

It was at the steps of this building John Lennon was assassinated.
